Palio Master 2 Table Tennis Bat Review

The Palio Master 2 is the improved version bat from its predecessor Palio Master. It is a premade table tennis racket that being released that aim to help in improving the playing skill of intermediate ping pong players.

The blade has been redesigned to gives players with better power and feeling. The rubber has remained unchanged with the previous version which is the brilliant Palio CJ8000 that you can find on both sides of the blade.

If you have been playing table tennis for some time and are seeking for a bat that can offer you with better speed and spin, then you can take a look in this Palio Master 2 bat.

The Blade

The wood used to construct the Palio Master 2 blade has been redesigned to improve fairness and quality. It is an enhanced version of the Palio Master.

The bat can offer you more power when doing the shot but at the same time, you will still have good control. By having more control, this will allow you to play with greater accuracy.

The Rubber

The quality of brilliant Palio CJ8000 rubbers is really good. It is being constructed with an ever improved sponge which can give you better quality and a faster feel. For this level of the bat, you will find that it can provide you with very good tackiness. What I can say is that the rubbers are well worth the price that you pay for.

However, due to its tackiness, the rubber also tends to attract a lot of dust on it. You will need to clean the rubber sheet frequently and make sure no dust attach on it in order for you to play a proper game.

One thing you can do to prevent too much dust stick on the rubber is with the use of sticky cover. It can help to prevent dust and protect the rubber very well.

One good thing about this bat is the rubber is replaceable. Once you feel that the rubber cannot offer you with a good hit of the ball, you can just replace it with a new one and you can regain your playing stroke.

The Handle

The Palio Master 2 features a flared handle. You can feel very comfortable to hold it in your hand. But after playing for some time, you may need to use a sandpaper sanding down the handle a bit so that you can have a better grip on it.

Speed

The bat can give you a nice crisp sound when you first touch the ball with the bat. It can respond very fast and is good at speed. When you have it and play for some games, you will find it is a faster bat compare to other rackets that are of the same level as the Killerspin Jet 600.

You may need some time to adjust your playing stroke and get used to it. But once you get familiar with the bat, it can offer you with great speed which can really help to improve your playing stroke.

Spin

You can have the stickiness that you want if you are playing with heavy spin. The amount of spin that you can have can make you feel really good about this bat. You can clearly feel the spin and pace that the bat generates.

Control

The bigger sweet spot with this bat can offer you very good control. It can give you the control that you need to keep the ball always bounces on the table. You can have better control of the ball even when you strike hard. You can play the loop quite consistent as well.

Weight

The shipping weight of this bat is approximately 259 g. It is slightly heavier in comparison to the bat of Butterfly 401.

Price

The price of this bat is about $45. It is excellent value for the money you paid for this bat as other similar range bats may cost you much more money. It is a few dollars cheaper than the Legend 2. However, if you don’t mind to spend a few more dollars, then you can get a better bat with the money you pay.

Overall

The Palio Master 2 is a great allround ping pong bat. All I can say is that this table tennis bat is a good developing bat that can offer players with good speed and control. It is exactly an ideal bat for beginners and intermediate players to start with.

The grip is better than other premade rackets. The durability of the bat is also great. You may get a feeling that the entire paddle is having the sweet spot. Therefore, even you are not hitting the ball in the middle of the bat, you can still have a good shot with it.

The bat may not give you sufficient power but it will definitely give you more control. Because of this, you will be able to make a shot to be more accurately drop on the table of the opponent’s side.

After playing for a period of time, the rubber may fell off from the blade. If this happens to you, you will need to use some glues to affix the rubber back.

When you purchase this racket, you will have a free racket case that sends together to you so that it can save you money from buying the case.

This is a quality bat that you can get from Palio. The bat is available at Amazon where you can buy it at your convenience.
