A few days ago, I accidentally stumbled upon the word “tt board”. I’ve played table tennis for many years, but I have never seen this jargon. I was curious what tt board means? Is it a return board for a player to play solo? Or a barrier to block the court?
After doing some due diligence, I searched for this keyword, and most of the sites that popped up were related to India, so I think this is a specific word people there use.

For beginners who are just learning the game, I suggest purchasing a lower price table or considering buying a used one.

After all, this table will be used as a practice field as you rise in the experience ranks. Beat up a cheap table now, and then purchase a better one when you’re ready to show off your newfound talents.

I suggest you purchase a table with rollers on the bottom. You never know when you need the space and need to move the table.
If you plan on moving the table all the time, then go ahead and purchase a table that folds up.
3. How’s the construction of the table?
Check to make sure that the table is level. Check for tables that are warped, especially if you plan on buying a used one.
You can find a suitable analog leveling device in most hardware stores for cheap. Run your hand over the playing surface to check for smoothness. You don’t want any rough spots to interfere with the quality of a great shot.
If you have children to play with tt board, it would be a good idea to check the sides for jagged edges or splinters.
While you are halfway to the floor, as you check the sides, study the legs and supports on the table. If the table has leg levelers on the bottom of the legs, this will help you balance the table correctly if the surface underneath is uneven.

The Joys of Home Game Tables
Believe it or not, there are true horror stories out there. You may have even heard a few of them. They all take place in dark, dingy basements shrouded in dust and cobwebs. These stories have real victims, too. Victims buried beneath piles of discarded and forgotten clothing and boxes chock full of bric-a-brac. These stories don’t make the headlines because they’re not exactly tragic. But make no mistake, they are dreadful tales.
Every year, hundreds of perfect home game tables fall into disuse and disrepair. None of them are immune to air hockey, foosball, billiard, poker, and ping pong tables. But the real victims here aren’t the game tables. The kids within the owners of these neglected game rooms are the ones who suffer most.
Sometimes it’s long hours at the office. Other times it’s too much TV that sucks the fun from their lives. Whatever the case, those of us who still enjoy our game tables can lament these losses. A life without fun. Isn’t that one of a child’s biggest fears about growing up?

Or, if space is tight, a dartboard is a space-conscious alternative.
Back to those horror stories. What worries me is that there are so many thrills locked up in disused game tables—all that potential fun buried in heaps of basement clutter.
