Significant Improvement with The Use of Carbon

Donic has improved the racket surface through various processing and brings in recent changes using a new material – carbon. Carbon is a tested durable material with a particular insensitivity to weather conditions and moisture resistance. Furthermore, it can provide the ball with more bounce and more power in the game.
Carbon is used in the aerospace industry due to the rigidity of carbon exploit and heat resistance. Another characteristic of carbon is that it is lightweight therefore ideal for the aviation industry. In motorsport, the complete body components are also made of this material, and it is also widely used in producing a bicycles.

You may wonder what benefits you can get as a player using a Carbon table tennis racket.

One of the essential things that need to be considered when manufacturing the table tennis racket is the stiffness level. And with the use of the carbon material provides sufficient stiffness in optimal conditions. The finish products of Donic CarboTec have excellent rigidity with minimum weight.

Other benefits included:

  • Hard and tension-resistant
  • More power
  • Faster response
  • Long lifespan
  • Insensitive to climatic influences
  • Stiffness
  • Free selection in the shape
  • Weight distribution
  • Rubber is very flexible

CarboTec 20

The Carbotec 20 racket is produced with a hollow handle. Therefore, the paddle head is heavier than the handle. You can see a turtle logo at the top of the handle.

If you are the type of person that sweats a lot, you may find the handle can get slippery because of the material used to make the racket.

Once you get your Carbotec 20 and try to play a few sessions with it, you may feel the racket is suitable for handling the ball. Also, the speed is quite reasonable for you to make the shot. Nonetheless, you may discover some weird sound caused by the carbon material, rubber, or the racket’s hollow.

From this racket’s asking price, it is better to get a custom-made bat instead of this one, which would provide you with a better playing experience.

Overall, it is a good Allround paddle suited for a more competitive player for the defensive game. It is a standard racket for all types of players.

If you are an aggressive player who loves to attack your opponent with a crucial clash, you may consider buying this Donic Schildkrot CarboTec 50. This table tennis bat can improve your attacking skill and cause a hard time for your opponent.

Since the bat is manufactured from wood, it is very robust and durable. The advanced technology of composite blade and conclave handle allows you to spin the ball and make some good shots.

Due to this, CarboTec 50 can provide a player with very fast speed and stiffness. Most people choose to get this carbon-glass blade without seeking the use of speed glue anymore. CarboTec 100

It is the fastest and most brutal racket of the 3 available models. It is suitable for a fast Allround and also a controlled attacking game. It can provide intermediate and advanced players with excellent control of their shots.

This racket is stiff and more twist-resistant compare to other rackets that are also made of wood. Because of the stiffness, it provides an excellent return of energy.

If you are a topspin player, you may find your serve and your shot improve dramatically with this CarboTec 100.

My Experience With the Racket

It is a lightweight racket, which makes it easy to maneuver during the game. Its handle is very comfortable and does not slip. The most significant disadvantage of this racket is the speed. It doesn’t carry the speed as the manufacturer claimed, which 120/100. I have tried it out myself, and I think the maximum speed I will give to this racket is 80/100.

The appearance of the racket is quite good.

The racket is not fast, hence not suitable for offensive players who play aggressive attacks. It is more suitable for people to play defending or playing all-round type.

Another disadvantage of this racket is the price. Some people will think this racket isn’t worth the asking price. It is too expensive for this level of quality. They can get other similar quality rackets at a lower price.

Overall, this racket can help to improve your skill and makes you play better in a game. It is not suitable to play the offensive game, and the price can be too high for some players.
